Blazing a Trail to the Sun

A time exposure of the Ludington, Michigan lighthouse after sunset and moonrise.
Edition Size:

This is a time exposure of the Ludington Michigan lighthouse after sunset on a full moon night. The moon illuminated the lighthouse and break wall as the sunset was fading to the naked eye. The time exposure brought all of the available light to life. This was a rare evening as there were no fishing boats in the water and no planes flying over head. The streak is Saturn blazing a trail toward the set sun.
